Experts selected the best projects of the ener2i contest of innovation vouchers in Belarus

The presentation of projects and the ceremony of the awarding of the winners of the second ener2i contest of innovation vouchers in Belarus was held in the Belarusian Innovation Foundation. According to the Belarusian and international experts, the following three projects scored the most points:

- the project “Optimization of the Performance of Solar Cells and Modules Based on Thin-Film HIT-Heterojunction”, the LLC “Izovac Technology” by Zhavnerko Gennady;

- the project “Experimental Study of the Principles of Energy Efficient Building Lime Production Technology”, the PTUE “Infostroykomplekt” by Dmitry Pisarenko;

- the project «2-Axis Tracker Installation,» the UE “Medium” by Ilya Khrushchev.

The winners received innovation vouchers to the amount of 4,000 euros each.

The second competition of innovation vouchers ener2i in Belarus was opened on January 4, 2016 within the 7th Framework Program for Research and Technological Development of the European Union. This year, 15 projects were submitted for the competition. The competition is organized by the ener2i project, a consortium that includes the following organizations: the EE EnergyEngineers (Energy Earth Agency of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), the Centre for Social Innovation (Austria), the Belarusian Innovation Foundation (Belarus) and the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of Scientific and Technical sphere (Belarus). The contest was intended to initiate the development of the innovative projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy through the provision of direct financial support in the early stages of project development.
