Belarus introduced a five-day visa-free travel for citizens of 80 countries on 12 February.
The plan of action is a so-called roadmap for the maximum involvement of the scientific sector as the most important driving force of the country's social and economic development in promoting Belarus' competitive ability on the global market.
Central European Initiative (hereinafter – CEI) is a regional intergovernmental forum committed to supporting European integration through cooperation among its Member States. It combines multilateral diplomacy and project management, both as donor and recipient, while bridging European macro-regions. On 1 January 2017 the Presidency of the CEI was assumed by Belarus, CEI Member since 1996. Belarus chose “Promoting connectivity in a Wider Europe” as the main theme of its' Presidency that is in line with the distinctive features of the CEI and interests of all member countries.
